4-14 Keypad controls and menus
4 Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until the Cross Web Adj menu for the
printhead you want to adjust is displayed.
5 Press the + or – key to shift the selected print position in the desired
direction.
The value range is <16 to 16>. The direction of the arrow indicates the
position of the print relative to the center of the printhead. The total
range is 32 dots with 16 dots to the left and right of the printhead center.
6 When you are satisfied with the position, press the SELECT key to
confirm your choice.
7 Continue making adjustments until you observe that the blocks in the
test pattern are horizontally aligned.
When all the blocks are aligned in the media travel and the cross web
directions, and the black block prints without any color shadows, the
color alignment is optimal.
