6. When message Ready to replace a print head appears, open the print head cover.

You can check that ink is removed from the tube connected to the print head selected on the

replacement screen.

7. While pulling up the tab ( ), lift the lever toward you ( ).

Note

Only the lever of the print head selected in step 4. is unlocked, and the others are locked. Do not

attempt to lift the lever forcedly.

8. Fold the print head toward you ( ) to pull out it ( ).

Note

Install the cover removed from a new print head on the used print head, and return it to your local

Xerox representative.
