Turning radius
You must also consider the width of the passageway when the
equipment must negotiate a corner, whether into a room, an
elevator, or another passageway.
There are L-shaped turns and T-shaped turns. The diagrams and
the tables that follow show the minimum space required to
maneuver through the turns.

Using the turning
radius tables
To use the tables:
1. Measure the minimum width of the passage or doorway you
need to use. This is Passage A.
2. Find that number (or the next higher number) in the turning
radius table and read across to the corresponding minimum
value for Passage B, depending on the type of turn the
equipment must negotiate.
Turning radius for
printer with
separated
components
The printing system is delivered with the printer and its
components as separate modules. If necessary, the printer can be
separated into two pieces for ease in moving. The larger of the
two parts contains the xerographic system; the smaller of the parts
(the paper handling module, or PHM) contains paper trays 1 and
2. Do not confuse these two parts of the printer with the inverter or
feeder/stacker modules, for example, which have their own
turning requirements.
The following table lists the turning requirements for the printer
without the PHM (separated).
